Ohai!
My internship finally ended on 7th Sept! And my next sem will only start at mid October. So, I'm considered as unemployed at the moment. Haha. Goyang kaki at home. Will post the pictures of other trainees and me up very soon! :)
Before that, two of my favourite mentors decided to have a farewell trip with me! Aww so sweet of em. We decided to go KL as Seremban has no nice place to go to.

Equipped with GPS, let the road trip begin!
Some introduction hehe. The guy on the left is Aristotle from Philippines, a really friendly foreigner who looked like a Chinese to me at first glance. He had culture shock and hard time adjusting to the norms here haha. On the right is Kok Siong from Seremban, a really down to earth guy that doesn't look anything like his age. Haha. Good thing tho as both of em were like no age gap, very comfortable to be with. They were really great mentors to me, and I really appreciate our rare friendship!

None of us are familiar with kl roads. Luckily the GPS worked and we reached Mid Valley safely! Although we couldn't find the entrance to parking lot and parked in the hotel beside. Hehe. Good enough! We opted Plan B for our lunch, since this restaurant is so recommended by many bloggers, we decided to have a go.

The relaxing atmosphere of Plan B. On a side note, we saw a handsome Hitz fm deejay having lunch with his mom! Handsome-nya hehehe

I decided to order Club sandwich! Was not feeling well that day and had bloated stomach, I can only finish 1/3 of the portion! Didn't know the portion was that big, should have shared with sis. =\ The sandwich was really yummy, taste was exotic and I was so guilty I couldn't finish it.

Sis went for her favourite dish, carbonara pasta! Not bad. Again, the portion was too big for her and she couldn't finish it lol. Actually the food at Plan B was much affordable than expected. The price is almost the same like Chilies or TGI Fridays. So..guarantee we'll have next time! Sis hasn't tried what she wanted yet, the famous egg benedict, as it was only available for breakfast.

Blurry pic of us at Plan B. Teehee :D Thanks kok siong for treating us. To be honest, I'm really not used to being pampered like this. But well, as someone said, we have to learn to accept blessings! Thank you, stay tuned for your "Plan C" yea. ;)
Later, me and sis did some window shopping while the guys walked around the mall before our movie starts.  Initially we chose the movie Chernobyl Diaries, but its not showing on that day. Phew :P Not sure if the show is really scary and I can take it anot haha. We watched another movie instead, The Watch. Its a comedy and the movie was so so only. I won't recommend it UNLESS you have to choose a show between horror movies and that, like our case, then you have my advice to watch it lol.

For dinner, we decided to try Bak Kut Teh as Aristotle has a taste for authentic chinese cuisine and we love the bak kut teh in Bao Xiang restaurant. We find it really nice, wonder why I heard some negative comments about it and the restaurant is always so empty. But we were really satisfied with our meal :)

Yummyyy! Really love the bak kut teh! But we were darn full by then and couldn't finish the you tiao. Awww the picture is making me craving for bak kut teh now.

Us again. We look so formal in our pictures huh! Haha.

Later that night, after hours of turning around Mid Valley, asking locals and checking the names of every tall building we stumbled upon, we finally found our destination!
Luna bar!! So touched when we finally found the correct building! The Pacific Regency Hotel was really hard to find! Plus it was very cloudy and drizzling that night, GPS was not working very well. Oh been wanting to go to this bar for quite a long time, and now our wish came true hehe. :D Some said Sky bar offers nicer view but it needs booking and has cover charge.

^___^ Stunning view of Petronas tower from Lunar Bar.The view was so exotic and yet the price was super affordable! Really love the place!

Us again. Hehehe. Not feel like drinking anything alcohol that night. The drink was only rm10+ and you can stay there whole night. Awesome place!

Theeeeee pooooool!!! So cool rite! And the dj was just up there inside the cubicle, playing club music. Yeah I think the main thing that attracted us was the sparkling pool hehe.

The boys relaxing over the music and view.

While the happy girls were busy taking pictures and trying to check in through facebook. wahaha.

All in all, the whole trip was an enjoyable and adventurous one! You'll never know whose lives you'll touch! Alright its time for bed. Good nite!

Wheeee

Hello!

So, me and my sis went back to our uni in Melaka last Saturday to settle some stuff. Before that, we met up with our fellow uni mates and had a brief reunion!

Oh the overwhelming feeling when those familiar roads and buildings appeared in front of my eyes. How I miss Melaka already! Its been months since I last see the roads, our ep apartment (now a really dusty room), and the shops around Bukit Beruang. Yes the shops! There're so many bitter sweet memories! The time when we were juniors and first moved into Ixora apartment beside MMU, the breezy nights when we will go around explore the restaurant/cafes with hsemates after bath, the gossips about which and which seniors or new comers. Kel Ling, our forever favourite housemate, and Fong Yee, our cute neighbour. Love em lots. Sigh.. Those were them days.

And yes, it was Just A Couple of Months! I'm over reacting I know haha. Think i'll most probably be crying my eyes out when its time for me to graduate! :( Not sure what happened to me recently haha. Feel like gonna miss every single thing I see or feel each day. I miss school life, but I'm pretty positive I'll miss my intern life too tho. There's only one week left for me to be in my company and I'll be back to school in no time. After that, I won't able to step into ffcm anymore, have lunch everyday with other trainees, work with other engineers, have long chats with my colleagues, see the scary botak boss scolding people ( :P ), observe people that passed by my seat whenever I have nothing to do, secretly counting the frequency of some people who visits the toilet very frequent hehehe (can't help it!).

But its time to face the reality, I will go back to MMU, finish my fyp, graduate and become a real engineer and go out there to make mom and dad proud! To be honest, I felt chills down my spine when I heard people calling me an Engineer in ffcm. The title is like a little too heavy for me lol. I know I'm studying engineering course, and soon to be an engineer (duhh what else then), but I used to think being an engineer is way too cool and its really hard for me to achieve this sacred title Hahaha. Silly me.

Okay, the main point of this post is not to reminiscent the good ol' days! By meeting up, we meant.... to parteh the night! Huhu. Here're some pictures of what we did for Friday night!

"I'm gonna live, my life. No matter what we party tonight~ I'm gonna li-li-live my life, I know that we gon' be alright~ " Notice the purple laser! That is SHOOO COOL! ^_______^

First time snapping pictures inside a club haha. Really love the loud music and party atmosphere. Another side of the world!

Smokin'! hehe. Dry ice I mean. Are there any clubs that don't allow smoking cigarettes? Inhaling those second hand smoke all night is so unhealthy!

I don't really drink much alcohol as my face will glow bright red after 2 or 3 glasses of drink, which only contain around 80% coke and 20% alcohol lol. Lame right? I'm still not sure of my drinking limit as I'll stop once I feel my face is blushing. Hmm the worst I've ever went was at Movida. I ordered a cocktail and it had this strong pungent minty smell. How the hell am I supposed to know the drink named Grasshopper could be in mint?! lol. Without any choices left, I tried my best to gulp the whole disgusting drink down together with some french fries. I drank my drink too fast, the effect started to show and I was super dizzy, can't even walk myself to the toilet! I leaned to the table and slept around 15 mins. And I'm totally fine when I woke up! Haha. Thats the only experience that I'm so near to drunk, and I'm not going to try it.

I hate it when I blush easily after a lil alcohol. It was back in 2 years ago when we went to try out the pubs in the famous Lam Guai Fong street when we visited Hong Kong. Felt so embarrassed when we had to take public monorails to back to our hotel after that. The colour of my face was giving people the impression that I've drank a minimum of 3 bottles of alcohol, when I only drank not even one bottle of Carlsberg! Not fair lah. But then on the upside, blushing can save you from being forced to drink. People will think you've drank a lot!
All of us! Glad to have em as friends in my life!
I still can't believe that we clubbed for two days straight. O_O That. was. insane!

P/s: If you can't change anything, just leave something beautiful as memory behind! You could be the next angel in disguise! ;)

Thursday, August 9, 2012

Hey there!
So, last Sunday our friend, Frank decided to bring us for a Korean meal for our belated birthday celebration. And he chose Da Chang Jing, a korean cuisine restaurant. We've never been there before, and he claimed that it is the best in town, despite my sis got a lot of negative feedbacks of the restaurant from her colleagues. But it's still worth a try. :)

We departed at 930pm for our supper late dipper (dinner + supper) (lol okay sounds weird!) All because of... this!
T__T very heartbreaking indeed. That fateful night, almost all malaysians' eyes are keenly glued to the tv, supporting the hero of our nation,to compete for msia's first gold in London Olympics. The game was legendary! It will be even more legendary-er if only Datuk Lee manage to win the gold medal back and make msia proud. Nonetheless, LCW is still no match with the man above, world no.1 badminton player, from China. But its okay, both of em have given their best and they deserve their titles! Thank you to LCW and LinDan for such a good game! :))

Andddd our dinner is served!
That's a lottttt of meat right! The food there was so so, I'll give it a 5.5 on scale 1 to 10. Haha. Cause for me, the most important thing of Korean cuisine is their side dishes, but the sides they provide do not satisfy me. Of all the Korean restaurants I've tried, the sides of this restaurant is considered as slightly below average.. Besides, there's a glimpse of our kimchi pancake on top right, well, its a little too soft for my liking. That's very sad as I thought pancakes are all yummy. But! On the up side, the meat is as awesome as usual, and the soups are delicious! :D

Kimchi soup! Yummeh. They have this seaweed soup which is equally yummy too, according to sis. She finished the whole bowl of it when she's suppose to share with me, so I never get to try it -____-'' lolz.

The dinner was kinda too heavy for that time, and as expected, I have bloated tummy the next day. :( My digestive system is not very good, I can't eat anything right before my bedtime. Else, my stomach will be feeling uncomfortable the next day. My stomach can't even stand any spicy food, even my favourite burger, McDeluxe is included. I sure will have diarrhea after that. But.......I don't care :P Meh.

And so, today, I was taking my usual evening walk and...
Puma? lol.
When I was walking pass a house, this cute cat was staring at me and started meowing. Then, it came to me and lie down. SO CUTE CAN?! It even tried to brush against my legs, but I'm not sure if its stray cat or someone's pet, so don't dare to touch her in case she's dirty. AHH I LOVE CATS! When I'm lonely I'll prefer dogs, but when I'm busy, I'll prefer cats as they're more inert. <3 p="p">

August first!

Hello! So fast and my fav month of the year has arrived! It was great indeed to wake up with loads of messages packed with love, same goes to my Facebook wall! Once in every year eh. Hehe. It was a pleasure too, replying each and every one of the messages! Some can get really creative with the wishes haha. There're some uni mates that had graduated and it hurts a lil to imagine going back to campus without the sight of em.. Some of the people whom I've brushed shoulders with frequently but never really talked with in campus, some of em whom do not appear familiar to me, clicking into their profiles and the pictures of anime characters did not help me to recall who are them. Neways, big thank you thank yous to those who wished me, those wishes are more than enough! (If any of you read my blog lol)

So, Last Sunday, Sis's colleagues decided to celebrate our birthday at a Japanese restaurant nearby, Matsu. It was my first time there. The food was really awesome! The best in town i think but the price there are also top in town I guess haha. After our meal, they gave us a lil surprise,
CUPCAKES!! Me and sis are special fond of cupcakes, and this is our very first cup-birthday-cake! Aww so cute aren't they?! They tasted decently well too! "Happy birthday Ying & Ni" ^_^ Appreciate much, thanks guys for such a memorable birthday! wuv you all haha. Sadly I only took this with my phone. Our group and individual pictures aren't with me.
After the yummy dinner, we had yumcha with high school mates.
Sorry for the noise-full picture. My phone doesn't work well in the dark. hehe. This is ah fu! Our best best friend! Thanks for always be there for us, and stay as sampat as you used to be! :D
Sis with Fu. Thank you for the presents! I also realized we didn't take any pictures with Amelia, who arrived later lol. And other besties who are unable to join due to studies. Hehehe but still, happyyyy! Friends forever yea :)
Me all hyped up before goin to work on my big day. How I wish I can self declare holiday!
Annnnnd a birthday must-have! The cake! Me and my sister decided to go and seek our birthday cake on Wednesday after our work. After hours of choosing between shops, we finally settled on this! Black Beauty. Oh big mistakeee! Well, according to the salesgirl, it should tastes like a moist cake and pure dark chocolate. But when we eat it, it tastes like ordinary cake, with super sweet cream in between and a hint of coffee. T____T undeniably the worst cake we've tasted these 22 years. Sobs. We should have stuck with the safe option of American chocolate or Black Forest instead. Haih.

Well, that's all for the birthday post. Actually I don't really feel birthday is important anymore after my 21st. It should be celebrated but I'm starting to feel indifference when it comes and goes. Hehe.
Hopefully, it is a year older, a year wiser.
Gonna end this post with a sketch. Bye! x

P/s: Focus focus focus!

Amen?

While I was preparing to go for work this morning. Notice how the colours of the dawn blend together? And how the tail of a rocket reacts with the background? Such a beautiful scene.
There are no days that are similar to another one, each day is special in their own way.
Same like human beings, we only have one life, and then we're gone. Gone to a place that no one has ever lived to tell. Those dreams that you think you will not achieve, those crazy thoughts that you think you will never dare to do, why wait?

I hope I can be as brave as I blogged, and make the first step.
Life has too much uncertainties, we don't always have tomorrow.
Things that you feel like doing, or say to that special someone, do it, or speak out, and have no regrets.
Clear your to do list! Do something memorable! Leave something beautiful on this world!

God is amazing. x

Gorgeous isn't it?! I've always wanted to perm my hair, but I doubt it'll go well with my thick framed specs..

Oh and hi! Its a lazy Saturday evening now. Not sure what I wanna do so I blogged!
Was having difficulty to wake up for work this morning and made a mental note to take a nap after work. But I'm too full to sleep now. Reason? Sis came to fetch me right after work and off we went.......to Jusco McD for their Chicken Foldovers! Haha. She was telling me how yummy it is after she tasted a bite of her colleague's yesterday, and there we were at the McDonald's today, for its foldovers! hahaha.
And yeah it was indeed surprisingly yummy! What's nicer than combining 2 patties of steamed chicken breast meat with fresh cabbage, tomato, raw union(that's the best part :P ) and some mayonnaise inside a chapati-like piece of bread?! Tasted like yummy sandwich. :9

Okay enough of advertising! Hmm. Life's good for the time being, work is okay. Thanks to the 3 new trainees, now I look forward to lunch time everyday! Cause that's the only time you can really chat. I can't bear a day without talking, I'll explode! And the previous lunch companions, they were too silent. :S Maybe engineers are like that, they don't really chat much over meals. Plus they eat super fast, after everybody has finished their meals, they will go back right away. Its like they all went out just to fill their stomach, not socializing or chatting. Worse is the only girl in the group was the most silent one O_O maybe she's shy, but I dare not make the first move. So the result is, I never talked to her although I've been going out with them for lunch for about 3 weeks..

This work life is actually very beneficial and has achieved its purpose of exposing us undergraduates to real working environment. Frankly speaking, I've gained a lot of practical knowledge which I will never get in lecture classes. And I do consider myself lucky to get to join a decent company for training, although cranes are not my favorite structure, it is good to learn the work flow of a manufacturing company.

Here are some pictures of my workshop in case you're curious!
In process of transporting the giant boom outside.
The colour of helmet indicates your status. White is foreman or engineer, while orange is labour.

Colorful cabins where the operator of crane sits.

Giant winch, where they pull and release the crane ropes for hoisting purpose.

One of the assembled machinery deck of a crane.

The workshop is actually a quite dangerous place. During briefing, we were warned to constantly beware of our immediate 3D environment. Not just in front, sides and back, but also on top of your head. Cause suddenly you'll see some few kgs of metals flying above you. Luckily we work at the office, if its not necessary we won't be hanging at the workshop that often lol -_-''

I'm kinda used to this life now, this is the end of the 7th week in my company. Time flies huh. My lecturer will pay me a visit next Friday to check my performance and evaluation from my supervisor. I still miss Melaka though. The food, the outings, the people.. everything. Will enjoy my last two sems in Melaka after my internship! And for the time being, work work work!
The stressful mentor is returning from the Philippines next week, and I am to expect larger workload! Hope after all these experiences I won't let him down! Fighting fighting!

That's all for this post! I've decided to take a really quick nap. Work always leave me worn out without fail. Not sure why am I so tired though cause all I did was office work.. Nitey! <3
