Getting to know the world, one step at a time.

Hey there!
So.... Third week of my internship is finally over! At first it seems like time crawls at a snail's pace, but now that I'm starting to get used to working life and also the environment and getting to know the people there deeper, well, I kinda wish time would pass slower! Hehe. I can foresee that I will be missing this chapter of my life pretty bad! ^^

My social awkward period is finally over (I guess and hope so haha) and no longer have to endure silent lunches! I'm starting to be able to grasp the characteristics of each and everyone of em, so that I can know when they prefer to be silent and when they're talkative, and which topic suits which person. Oh and talking about silent lunches, its at least way better than having lunch alone! I never dare to try having lunch alone outside, cos it feels so awkward sitting alone and munching your food. Lets say today's vegetable is exceptionally fresher, or the meat taste yummier, there's no one to tell! I would feel so pathetic and would rather just take away and eat it at home in front of my computer screen instead. It would be much comfortable! But there's always the first time, particularly during internship where you part with all your friends into a totally different and strange society.

That was the first week of my internship. Some of my fixed lunch companions have trainings, some busy, and  I'm not sure where are the remaining people as they normally gather at the lobby, and I see none. I chose to go have lunch myself as they probably also went other places for makan. Lucky I brought my own car, else I would be starving! And having lunch alone...I opted.......

Yup McD! Lol. Well I know, maybe for some people out there, having lunch alone is a norm since not everyone's gonna stick around in workplace, unlike in university or high school where you always eat with bunch of people and chat over meals! I know, its perfectly fine to have lunch alone. But I couldn't really get over myself, even McD also failed to register any taste to my brain! Haha. Eating alone is miserable! And from that onwards, I started to bring snacks, biscuits and tea to my office, just in case! ;)

First and second week were very boring, so I used to doodle on the unwanted papers to pass my time. Seriously have nothing to do besides reading training modules that the company had prepared for new comers. Imagine you have to read stuff off the computer screen for 3/4 hours straight! That is super boring! And you know, I could never stand boredom, I  even sleep at Sunday sermons! I don't mean to say the sermons are boring, but when you have to listen intently to a speaker in front on an early morning for an hour, with nothing to do, yeah that challenges my limit lol. Extreme sleepiness will overwhelm me and you'll see me nodding through the prayers. I can get sleepy really easy! Til I suspect that I have some kind of sickness or high suger levels that make me sleepy! But I seldom sleep during lectures, maybe its the intense silent atmosphere. Hmm. Well neways, I have my solutions to tackle it!

Voila! Sweets and handsfree! I don't really like minty sweets but they're extremely useful to counter sleepiness, so that explains the Halls sweet. :)

Working literally sucks all the life outta you. You wake up, go to work when the sun rises, go home when the sun sets, dinner, rest awhile and its time to sleep. So weekends are vry important! Cant waste a good ol' weekend! So we've kinda into mountain climbing recently! Its fun, allows us to close to the nature and also able to stay in shape, all wrapped in a package! How good is mountain climbing! Alright, done with promoting the sport, so we hiked up to the Indian temple mountain (more like a hill, given its height) located nearby. Its a quite popular climbing spot for the neighbourhood nearby. This hill is kinda a beginner level. Gunung Angsi and Brogah hills are next on our list! Dare not challenge Mount Kinabalu yet lol.
The hilltop scene. Mountain climbing is so fun! ^_^

'Cept for mountain climbing, we went to explore the gyms nearby too! But was quite disappointed with the gyms in Seremban, some are expensive and their equipments are a lil advanced, focus on muscle building rather than healthy exercise, and others are very affordable but don't even have treadmill! Sigh.

Alright, time for mountain climbing again! Have a great weekend guys, adieus! x
