Well, hello lovelies ♥: Penang,a lively city.

Penang Seberang Prai Tour guide : Lidren and Ong Kok Chien (aka ah chien)

5-10-10 (Monday)

Its time to leave Ipoh and head for Penang today!

We packed and prepared to leave Yew Meng's house in Ipoh.

We had breakfast with Ym's mom before we leave for Penang.

This stall is famous for its Ipoh white coffee and chicken Hor Fun!

The white coffee there was very rich, too concentrated for me who dont drink coffee :P

The curry mee there was nice too! And chicken Hor Fun, tumbs up!!

Ym did not tell his mom he bought his 3k DSLR hahahha!

He kept his DSLR all along in Melaka so his mom wont know.

We all looked sneaky when Ym's mom asked whose DSLR hes holding.

And initially he wanted to say its HueiWen's but he didnt and told his mom its his.

hahahaha its good tho cuz finally nonid to hide from his mom dy ^_^

Thanks Ym's mom and relatives for great hospitality!!♥

(Im worried at first to sit on Ym mom's lap cuz shes so tiny ^^")

Ojama shimashita~

After the filling breakfast, we went around the area to buy some souvenirs.

Went to try this. Steam egg pudding (炖蛋)

Special but not really nice as the sauce is too sweet.

Didnt get to buy any local delicacies as Ym cant find the shop >_<

We decided to go to the bus stop on our feet cuz too full haha.exercise abit.

Long long way to go~

Saw this random building on our way and take pics haha.

After a sweaty half an hour, we've finally reached the bus stop!! Yay >_<

Weeeee~ Penang here we come~

Bought the nicest egg tart iv ever tasted!!!

No doubt won Sban's egg tart. T____T miss it badly.

We gonna spend a day in Seberang Prai first then the last 2 days in Penang island.

Waiting in Penang central for HanKai's dad and Lidren to come fetch us to HanKai's house.

Behold~ we've reached HanKai's mansion haha.

Ym's mom was vry caring, she bought this for us to bring to Penang.

Kaya puff. Very yummy too!!

Hk's house was big and empty we thought he just moved lol.

Ah Chien arrived at Hk's house and took us to have some asam laksa.

Asam laksa is a must taste in Penang!

But this shop only sells asam laksa and ABC lol.

Very very nice..but still lose to the one in Kek Lok temple haha.

I absolutely loveeee asam laksa!

After that, we paid a visit to a magnificent temple : 斗母宫

The interior was very golden!! haha

Browsing through the maps to decide where to go next.

Next,we went to pasar malam to hunt for some food.

This fried carrot cake was seriously yummy beyond words!!

Not bad :) but the popiah in Sban's pasar malam wins hehehe!

Besides asam laksa, Penang also famous for its Prawn mee!

As night falls, we went to AutoCity!

At first i have no idea at all what is Autocity, but when we reached there i totally in love with the place.

AutoCity is like a place consists of numerous restaurants, clubs and cafes.

And its very happening and beautiful there at night!

There are some shops that sell shoes, shirts and all kind of things too!(but the price was kinda expensive)

Story is there was a rich guy proposed to his gf here then he built this colourful fake bridge.

I bet his gf called Winnie. :PP

The pretty fountain infront of SOHO.

When we passby it at 9smth, the people in there were having dinner and the projector was showing badminton matches innocently.

And when we passby it again by 12smth, the building turned into a club,the ppl inside were dancing,the projector was showing wwf and there was lik "boom boom" sound coming out of it lol!

We wanted to have some place to hang out so we chose this cozy little cafe!

Winter Warmers ♥

Absolutely in love with the warm interior.

Me and Lance wanted to try its food so we ordered this!

We finally returned to our house later.

Its over 12am and its 6th of October, its Ym's bday!!

We planned to act like we dont know and give Ym a surprise bbq party at Penang island's beach the day after, but cant bear to see Ym's moody look.(Dont know he's really disappointed at all of us for forgetting his bday or just tired, we just assumed the former hahahhaa.)

Then we went to 7 11 to hunt for any decent cakes.

Then we bought this:

2 chocolate muffins with Rocky as candles!

hahahahhahaha~

And Lance grabbed a Tolberone for him :P

Penang island tour guide : Jeremy and Kuhan

The next day, we gonna cross the sea to Penang Island by cargo ferry~

While us were vry excited hahaha.
First time riding cargo ferry for some.

HanKai yawned waiting for pig Lidren and at last Kuhan fetched them.

Some of us went into Jeremy's car first.

Our breakfast was divided to many parts to taste Penang's food.

Ah Leng Char Kueh Teow, but the person is not Ah Leng haha.

The kueh Teow is seriously nice!
It even have 3 juicy prawns which exactly look like the one in our brochure haha..

Finally Lidren arrived in his Corolla.

Went another place for Kueh Teow and Wan Tan mee.
Its wan tan mee is covered with Yuen Yong's sauce! But taste nothing special hehe.

Went Sleeping Buddha temple after that.

Discovered a machine which can sort of tell ur fortune.

U just have to insert a 50cent coin and it's light will automatically choose a number for u,

then u take the paper from a container beside according to ur number.

Focus hoping for good luck :P

I got not really good fate >_<
But nvm, my future is in my hand and its still undetermined,
and no harm knowing, just dont take this thing seriously hehe.

Its definitely as tasty as it looks! :D

But the popiah is so so only.

Later in the evening, we went to book a hotel for the night as Kuhan and Jeremy's place were not available.

Iv heard bout it very often but nvr stay in it before.

Tune Hotel's motto : "5 star experience at 1 star rate."

Its small but have everything u need!

After cleaning ourselves, we went Gurney Plaza for a stroll and dinner!

Once again we formed a circle in the middle of the food street, discussing what for dinner.

At last we chose Chili's as we never tried before!

Hahaha i dunno which camera to look at.

Yummy but expensive T.T

This snack is from another table hahaha. Its refillable and they refilled 3 times!
Worth the money hahaha.

I love this! Chicken Fajitas!
Its like diced roasted meat and potatoes with added spices all wrapped in tortilla.
The sauce in the middle taste abit like mayonese with a splash of lemon,. yum yum!

After eating, its time for the bbq party!

We went to buy cakes while the others took Yew Meng elsewhere when we prepare.

Went Dome for 2 pieces of cakes.
Birthday must have cakes rite?

One is chocolate and another is cheese chocolate.
So chocolaty~ I like :D
Dome's cake were really delicious and its services are good! :)

After buying the cakes, we went to the beach near Flamingo hotel.

Find a strategic spot and set up our things!

Leave the work to these three guys here ^_^
We were having fun throwing sea shells into the sea haha.
Ym finally arrived. They went Hard Rock hotel :( unfair we wanna go too~
